In from Waterford to Midleton for business - we both needed lunch. Cupán called to us. Spacious, bright and very comfortable seating. Quick enquiry (can you do GF). Yes. Afterwards we were texting to friends and family “We’ve just had THE best sandwich THE best coffee and THE best cake in Cupán Cafe”. We’ll be back in Midleton in 2 weeks but now it revolves around arriving earlier to catch Cupân for lunch. AND we’re pre-ordering scones, pear and walnut cake, and coffee cake to see us home again. Thanks Laura and team.

What a lovely experience I had last week …. Laura was so welcoming and warm even though I only had a cupan ! Telling me to sit down and enjoy my coffee and pay when I was leaving ….In the genes I’m sure Laura ! …. Every thing looks amazing …. Part of town already ! …. It’s not the run of the mill cafe ….. it’s unique in every way ..… Will be back soon for a bite and another great cupan of coffee…. Thanks Laura and Team Laura ♥️

Went in here today for a coffee and toasted sandwich. €11.75 for the privilege. €4.80 for a mocha and €6.95 for a toasted sandwich. You wouid say something gif the sandwich was nice. It was as basic as they come and I barely ate it. 1 bare slice of ham that didn't even fill the sandwich, I'd say a couple of drops of cheese, a tomato and a couple of onions. Utterly shocking and a rip off at its highest. To say that's the last time I go in there is an understatement.

Hi Gary,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your visit did not meet your expectations.
While we appreciate that value is subjective, we believe that €6.95 for a freshly prepared toasted sandwich represents very good value in today's climate, particularly given the rising costs facing hospitality businesses. We also make a conscious effort to source high-quality ingredients and use local produce wherever possible, something that is very important to us and many of our customers.
That said, the most important thing is that customers enjoy what they receive, and it's clear from your review that this was not your experience.
It's a pity that your concerns were not brought to our attention while you were onsite, as we would have welcomed the opportunity to inspect the sandwich and replace it immediately if it did not meet our usual standards.
We take all feedback seriously and will review your comments to ensure consistency in both quality and presentation. We genuinely regret that you left disappointed and hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity in the future.
Kind regards,
C
